Kit Review
The Series IV airframe has already been released in the Quattro Combo with the Royal Class series (#R0010 - see our preview here) in early 2015 and as a Weekend Edition (#7428 - see our preview here) mid-year, so now it is time for the full ProfiPACK edition to be made available.

Inside the box you will find three sprues of a medium grey-coloured plastic, one of clear plastic, a pre-coloured photo-etched fret and a set of self-adhesive masks. The full-colour instructions take you though assembly in 21 stages and colours are highlighted throughout via the Gunze-Sangyo Mr Aqueous Hobby Color and Mr Color ranges. Construction is traditional, with even locating pins on all the major components. The cockpit interior is nicely detailed and in this version you get pre-coloured photo-etched for the instrument panel, seat belts are various sidewall details. The elevators and rudder are separate, while the ailerons are moulded with the wings. Surface detail is a mix of fine recessed lines on the fuselage and inner wing sections, plus raided ribs for the fabric-covered mid-fuselage and the remainder of each wing. The spatted wheels come with the rear section of hub and a bit of the spat as a separate part, but again if you don’t like this, you can get single-piece resin ones in the Brassin range (see here - http://www.valiantwingsmodelling.co.uk/avia-b534-wheels-and-spats-219-p.asp). The canopy parts are nicely moulded and you have optional parts to allow you to have the canopy open or closed. As usual, Eduard have included a clear yet precise series of view at the end of the instructions to help you rig this model, although again if you don’t fancy this, Eduard already do separate photo-etched flight wires that simply lock into place (see here - http://www.valiantwingsmodelling.co.uk/avia-b534-wires--stretchers-229-p.asp).

Colour Options
The kit offers six decal options:

• 'White D1', 4th Air Regiment, No.34 Squadron, Hradex Králové, Czechoslovakia, summer 1937

• H4+GR, 7./LLG 1, Eastern Front, winter 1942/3

• 'White 40', 6th Fighter Squadron, Karlovo airfield, Bulgarian Air Force, 1941-2

• 'White S-25', Slovakian Air Force, 1944

• 'White S-25', Slovak National Uprising, Combined Squadron, 1944

• OK-PAZ, Police Air Watch unit, Ceské Budejovice, Czechoslovakia, September 1938

The decal sheet is excellent and has perfect register and colour density. It includes all the unique markings as well as airframe stencils

Conclusion
This is an excellent kit, a step up from the Weekend Edition thanks to the etched and not as involved or expensive as the Royal Class version, so it is highly recommended to all with an interest in the type.
