Bf 109G (Bunny Fighter Club Edition)
Decal Review
This sheet is offered within the 'Bunny Fighter Club', so you need to be a member to buy it off the Eduard site and it is not distributed worldwide as a result. It offers markings for the following five options:
• Bf 109G-6, W/Nr.27169, 'Black <<', flown by Fw. Heinrich Bartels, 11./JG 27, Kalamaki airfield, November 1943
• Bf 109G-6, W/Nr.440141, 'Yellow 6', flown by Oblt Wilhelm Schilling, 9./JG 54, Ludwigslust, February 1944
• Bf 109G-6, W/Nr.18807, 'White 10', flown by Ofw. Alfred Surau, 9./JG 3, Bad Wörishofen, September 1943
• Bf 109G-6, 'Yellow 1', flown by Oblt Alfred Grislawski, 1./JGr.50, Wiesbaden–Erbenheim, September 1943
• Bf 109G-6, 'Red 13', flown by Maj. Ludwig Franzisket, I./JG 27, early 1944
The decal sheet includes all the unique markings plus swastikas (where allowed by law) and there is a secondary sheet offering two sets of airframe stencils.
Verdict
Once again the decals are beautifully printed in the Czech Republic, with perfect register and colour. All the options have been included in the ProfiPACK kits of the G-6 but are offered here for those who may have purchased the 'overtrees', which don;t come with decals.
Our thanks to Eduard for the review sample, visit their website (here) for more details or to purchase this sheet.
