Most of us probably use the micro-tubing in brass, copper, aluminium or nickel silver produced by Albion, well their new Connecto range allows you to joint length together easily and to get a strong join. Those shown here are the the smallest size, intended for MBT04, MAT04 or NST04 (0.3mm) tubing. You can see the etched fret offers ninety individual crosses, which can be bent to allow various angles to be achieved. Other sets offer eight-point stars and three-point triangular configurations, so the potential is huge.
The range thus far consists of eleven different sets, covering right up to 1.4mm diameter mico-tubing and we are sure it will grow and grow.
Conclusion
A useful product, especially if you are scratchbuilding but also great in the larger scales to help in the assembly of things like radio equipment and consoles that would otherwise be rather flimsy assemblies of flat etched.
