Kit Review
This is another all-new tooling from Revell, which was due back in September 2015 but is only just arriving on the market.

Inside their usual floppy end-opening box you will find one bag containing one clear and two white sprues. This is a pretty simple kit with just 55 parts in total and surface detail is via fine engraved lines. One bad point of note are the sink marks in the upper wing halves caused by the wheel well detail moulded underneath and this will show through the paint and effects more than one engraved line - argh! Interior detail is restricted to the one-piece flight-desk unit, there is nothing elsewhere but that is to be expected with an airliner in this small scale. The mid section under the fuselage where the wheel wells are is a separate insert, so that the interior walls of the well could be depicted. The engines are quite nice, with fans, ducting and outlets all moulded as a separate assembly that goes into each cowling and that is a nice touch in this scale. All the flap and control surface guides are separate parts below each wing and the kit has the option of wheels up or down, although there is no display stand for the former. All the undercarriage parts and wheels are crisply moulded, although as with all the smaller parts you have to contend with sprue extensions on many of the parts, all of which will have to be carefully clipped away and cleaned up.

Colour Options
The kit offers just one decal option:
• I-ADJT of Air Dolomiti
The colours are once again only given by Revell's own paint range, but at least all the coloured areas of the markings are supplied as decals.
The decal sheet is designed by Daco and printed in Italy. The images have excellent register and colour and are nice and glossy with clear carrier film where visible.

Conclusion
An excellent kit, the sink marks we mention may just be restricted to our sample, let's hope so, as repairing them and then the very fine recessed panels lines will be time consuming. Overall though a great kit and one that I suspect all airliner modellers will want to add to their collections, and rightly so.
