Accessory Review
This boxed set offers highly detailed open gun bays for Eduard's new-tooled Wildcat. There are fourteen 3D-printed resin and five etched components. The Eduard kit was deigned form the outset for sets like this, so there is little cutting required, although dealing with getting the resin parts separated from all those posts associated with the 3D printing process, well you will all have your own method of doing that! In this -3A version you have the front cowl with only the carburettor air intake built in the top (no intercoolers) and the single exhaust flap at the top each side of the rear of the cowling. The etched sprue includes the ignition harness, governor drive etc, and you will still need wire of various diameters to create pipes within the cowls. The level of detail combined with the complex nature of the parts, clean-up and assembly, mean this is intended for the experienced amongst you.
