Liquid Weld Cyanoacrylate

Manufacturer: Liquid Weld
Material: Cement

Now we all use cyanoacrylate in the hobby nowadays, because it is a must when working with the likes of etched brass and resin. I have used literally dozens of brands over the years and never been impressed with any of them, until now...

I came across Liquid Weld about a year ago and I am now a complete convert. Why?, well I simply got fed up with all such cements just going hard after a few months, no matter how you stored them. I personally think that having to store a glue in a refrigerator is just downright mad, as my nearest fridge is a long way from my modelling area! This cyanoacrylate is different though, not only is it industrial strength, it also lasts for ages. I had my first bottle stored in the work shed for over a year, open, and it is still in use! When new it grips like crazy and the only thing you see over time is a slight reduction in the speed at which it bonds, however a bit of accelerator cures that.

You can obtain Liquid Weld directly from the manufacturer, either as a 10g bottle for £9.99 or as a 30g bottle for £19.99. They also offer, at present, a special mail order deal where if you order one each of the 10g and 30g bottle, you get another 10g one free.

This is excellent stuff, you will be a convert too, once you actually try the stuff. Visit them at www.liquidweldglue.co.uk or UK buyers can call 07782 220 213.
