Luftwaffe Camouflage 2
AK Interactive produce a mass of modelling products and equipment and this is one of their latest paint sets.
Inside the box you will find eight of the now-standard 17ml bottles we see from the likes of Vallejo, MIG, 75 Scale etc. The colours offered in this one are as follows
RLM 72 - Standard upper camouflage colour on maritime aircraft introduced in 1939
RLM 73 - Standard upper camouflage colour on maritime aircraft introduced in 1939
RLM 78 - Standard lower camouflage colour on aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean introduced in 1941
RLM 79 - Standard upper camouflage colour on aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean introduced in 1941
RLM 80 - Standard upper camouflage colour on aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean introduced in 1941
RLM 81 - Standard upper camouflage colour on aircraft introduced in the summer of 1944
RLM 82 - Standard upper camouflage colour on aircraft introduced in the summer of 1944
RLM 83 - Standard upper camouflage colour on aircraft introduced in the summer of 1944
A good selection in one way, as RLM 72 and 73 are not that common, but odd in others because RLM 76 really needed to be in this set?. The paints themselves work well and feature 'Scale Reduction Factor', which allows them to give maximum coverage whilst still remaining easy to use. They will both spray and brush paint, although for the former you may find adding some flow enhancer is a good idea.
This set (#AK2020) retails for £18.58 and our sample came from Little-cars.com who stock the entire range. You can order them directly from their website, or pick them up from them at the numerous models shows they attend throughout the UK each year.
Our thanks to Little-cars.com for the review sample.
