Kit Review
This is the other version of the ex-Fujimi kit that KA Models have released and it retains all the basic G-series plastic parts from the Fujimi tooling plus the new turned brass pitot and the basic fret of etched brass as seen in the G-6 version we covered previously.
This version comes with two decal options, the first being ‘Red 2’, “Rita”, flown by Fw. Eberhard Gzik, JG300, Germany, October 1944 and the other being ‘White 3’, flown by Heinz Ewald, JG52, Hungary, February 1945. The decal sheet once again offers all the unique and national insignia, with the swastikas split in two plus, in this version, the Reich Defence bands for each option.
Verdict
As with the G-6, the basic Fujimi kit builds easily and with the addition of the new parts and some excellent decal options, we are sure it will prove popular with Luftwaffe modellers.
