Metal Varnish (water-based)
The Vallejo range of paint and finishing products is well know and this is one of their latest releases in the paint range.
This bottle contains a a water-based acrylic gloss varnish that is specifically designed for application over the new range of acrylic metal-effect paints. It will not react with the underlaying colour, nor will it cause any other problems such as 'chalking' or 'spotting'. That said I would recommend doing some tests with it to see what works for you.
