Mini Scales
Now you may be wondering what I am doing covering a product like this, well it is simple, they are great for weighing out small amounts to ue as nose weights in models! These tiny little scales do up to 100g in 0.01g steps, so they are great for doing the usual couple of gramms we add to models. Their use also measn you do not get in trouble for using the kitchen scales!
The back section nowt only holds the 2 AAA battiers, which are inclued, but there is a storage conpartment for them as well, so when the scales are not in use you can pop the batteries in there and they will not drain because they are in the 'circuit', or you can just keep a spare set in it there!
There are various weighing options, including g, oz, gn and ct, but most of us will use either of the former, whilst the unit itself is tiny, being only 128mm long by 78mm wide by 21mm high!
I got these on the eBay from a jewellers in Poole for just over £5.00 with postage, so they are not expensive, but well worth adding to the workbench - no more guessing if you have added enough weight!
