Accessory Review
This set is offered as a direct replacement for the kit parts, but with more detail and, where appropriate, correcting any errors. As you can see it includes the main undercarriage V struts with nice repreduction of the bungy cords wrapped round the axle, the axle box and the tail skid.
Conclusion
We have always found these sets most useful, simply because they allow a degree of adjustment to get the wheels to sit squarely on the ground, which is something you just don’t get with plastic. Plus with biplanes in this scale, metal is a lot more rigid than the 'to scale' struts of the kit, on which the completed model wobbles alarmingly!
