Intended for their excellent new Mk VIII kit, this set offers a complete Merlin engine with bearers and separate cowlings made up of over 50 resin components. There is also a fret of etched brass for the cowling interior framework and a number of other 'flat' detail parts.
Verdict
A superb set and really what the Brassin range is all about. There will be some surgery needed on the base kit parts, but that is all clearly shown in the accompanying instructions.
