Book Review
This is the second title in the Air Battles series and it looks at Kamikaze operations during WWII. The text is French throughout, including all photo captions, and the coverage is broken down into the following chapters:
1 - Okinawa the field of honour of Kamikaze
2 - The last months of Kamikaze
3 - Ohka or Baka the story of a folly weapon
4 - Yokosuka D4YA Model 43 Suisei
5 - The other weapons of Kamikaze
Each section charts the operations by the Kamikaze units, with its successes and failures, all supported by a large number of period images and the occasional colour side profile.

Conclusion
This seems an excellent series and this latest addition to it is certainly packed with information. The French text does mean the appeal of the title is limited, but with both overall shots of operations and detailed (period) photographic walkarounds of some of the aircraft types, it is certainly still worth having if you are at all interested in Japanese aviation during WWII. It's also probably double useful at present, what with Brengun doing the Ohka in 1/48th and 1/72nd scales of late.
