Weathering Set

Revell are known worldwide for their kits as well as the usual range of paints, glues and tools, well now they have moved into the weathering field as well.
This new 'Weathering Set' contains six snap-top 5g plastic tubs of pigments for weathering. The shades included are:
Mud Green
Dark Brown
Rust Red
Sand Yellow
Deep Black
Snow White
The boxed set also contains a multi-lingual guide to using them. The pigments can be used dry or wet, the former just loosely dusted on with a brush to create dried dirt etc., while the latter method you just mix with water and apply either into recessed details or as streaking etc. Although not stated, you should be able to use the commercially available 'fixing' mediums for pigments, as that will ensure they stay put (Revell probably make no mention of this because they don't produce one themselves we suspect)
We will have a good test of these new pigments and add a little report to this review in the next week or so.
